Chair: Tina Larson
The Membership Committee aims to engage emergency nurses across Colorado, encouraging not only membership in the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) but also active involvement with Colorado ENA. Our focus is on both new recruitment and fostering ongoing member engagement.
To strengthen and expand the Colorado ENA community by connecting emergency nurses with resources, educational opportunities, and volunteer roles, while improving membership retention and engagement across the state.
The Membership Committee has driven continuous growth in Colorado ENA membership through targeted recruitment and outreach efforts. By effectively communicating membership benefits to those nearing expiration, we hope to achieve higher renewal rates and stronger retention. Our statewide Liaison Program engagement has increased, ensuring broader representation of Colorado ENA. Additionally, we’ve fostered enhanced networking and collaboration among emergency nurses across the state, strengthening professional connections and knowledge sharing while boosting participation in conferences and symposiums.
Colorado ENA is seeking a member from each emergency department to act as a liaison and make sure their coworkers stay informed about ENA opportunities.
Once a department liaison has completed their responsibilities they can apply for half of their annual membership to be reimbursed.
